WRITING TO ATTRACT
Personal Ad Lay-Out
As we all sit down to write about ourselves, how many times do you hit Writer's Block....?
So as I considered what would be the best foot forward, I asked myself a number of questions: I know they will be helpful.
Who am I trying to attract?
- What kind of general impression do I want to leave about myself?
- How do I want to describe my Interests and Activities?
- (Am I outgoing...a couch potato...a weekend warrior...Am I a sports enthusiast...what kind of sports...Am I an arm chair traveler?)
- How do I want to describe my Personality traits?
- Be a specific as you can:
- Here are some ideas.... Warm, compassionate, outgoing, introverted, love variety, love specific interests, reserved, eager and interested.
- What kind of personality am I trying to attract? Do I want someone who is more outgoing than I so I can enjoy our differences?
- Do I want someone who has more of the same interests or do I want someone who is more diversified?
- Write down a description of the person you want to attract - Physical attributes: Emotional attributes and Intellectual attributes
For Woman:
- Be as Clear and Honest as Possible. Specify your own needs, wants, desires and do an Open and Honest appraisal of your own personality, hopes, dreams and expectation.
- Be Simple.
- Be Direct.
- Be Clear
For Men:
You aren't advertising for a new house, new shoes, new car.... Your whole online experiences will be so much more rewarding, straightforward, no hassle if you just stick to the basics.
Think about it from how you sound from some one else's point of view and the most attractive way to present yourself
Here are some DO NOT DO THIS:
