Healthy Weight Reduction: Gaining Control        

No matter the name, weight control is not just a personal issue; it can also be a family issue.

  • It is not necessarily an issue of will power; above all else, it is an issue that involves the need for knowledge, education and an understanding of the bio-individual mechanics of weight gain and weight control.

In my years of practice, I have rarely seen an insistence where a lack of will power and a lack of determination were the over riding factors preventing personal weight reduction.

Weight can, however, be an issue of well being and health and that is where a professional needs to come in.

  • Let’s face it, if it was as easy as willpower, weight reduction and control would be reflected in the remarkable efforts that people, like you, put forward. People put out enormous amounts of determination in the face of frustration in order to try and shed a few pounds of unwanted weight. That takes will power.

Most individuals I have counseled try and try and keep on try; that takes will power. When one way does not work, another way is attempted; that takes commitment and will power.

So where in that equation is there any correlation between weight control and a lack of will power. What I have observed rather is a lack of knowledge.

It can be as simple as working with a one size fits all formula of food and nutrition or working in an environment where there is not enough understanding of the uniqueness and special needs of the biological differences that make weight issues seem complicated.

Hundreds and even thousands of dollars can be invested with little return because of the missing knowledge to understanding these differences.

HEIGHTY WEIGHT REDUCTION: GAINING CONTROL

  • What if you came to the clear understand that it is not all about will power, how relieved would you feel?  
  • If you were in hands of a qualified professional who was capable of teaching you the knowledge you needed so you could genuinely abandon those plans that make you feel diminished, weak and lack luster in your goals to achieve healthy weight loss. How would you feel? How much more confident would you feel if you had a bio-individual approach that acted like a Frame of Reference?
  • Even in your moments of weakness, as every person has, what if you had a Frame of Reference that made the trip back to your weight reduction plan easy to get back to. Slips happen. They are not the problem. The problem is how to get 'back to the path' so to speak.
  • You deserve to know the way back and regain control, rather than fear the onslaught of gaining every pound you lost and then the predictable extra that the body stores for insurance. You read that last statement correctly. And I know it rings true for you that after each slip, it is much easier to gain more weight than your pre-diet weight.
  • If you were taught the simple mechanics of foods and timing that positively affected your basal metabolic rate; if you learned about sugar type alternatives that actually repelled yeast growth, are excellent for diabetic use, are an alkaline ph which can retard bacteria growth; is low calorie and low on the glycemic index and is not the neuro-toxic artificial sweeteners.
  • If you were taught how to achieve craving control, the biggest block to successful weight loss, within days, not weeks; if you understood the digestive process; the importance of healthy intestinal flora and how to achieve it simply.

    If you understood and knew how to manage signs and symptoms of healthy vs. unhealthy digestion, then you would feel confident you held important knowledge to help you in your efforts. Unhealthy digestion means impaired nutrient absorption plus edema (water retention) there is no disputing that.

    If you understood the circadian rhythms of the body that dominate the stages of cleansing; digestion and absorption; repair and maintenance, then you would have a significant understanding of how to work with the body and achieving success.

If you knew what times of the day were

optimal for exercising to raise you basal metabolic rate

How to influence the body into releasing fatty acids and maximize fat burning potential

How to control the internal fat enzyme which can be a formidable foe when you are trying to reduce your weight

Wouldn't you have more confidence going forward?

Of course.

That is real knowledge.

Issues of weight are personal.
